basic skills and additional learning support needs people have in modern Britain and how this impacts on the spectrum of their life experiences.
The resources are designed to empower work place learners with a greater understanding of key basic skills and additional learning needs awareness
themes relating to people's barriers to learning and employment opportunities.
Content includes:

- Being alert to a potential basic skills and additional learning needs
- Basic skills and the family, housing, employment and crime
- English as a second language
- Exploring some of the barriers that make it difficult for some people with additional learning needs support needs to make the best use of
